Gurukul International School (GIS)

Gurukul International School (GIS) welcomes you to become a part of this family. GIS is the first school in the area that started from play level. GIS provides free education to girls and backward class. It is located in a village Makranda which is 30 Kms (East) away from Darbhanga. GIS is based on CBE curriculum. The medium of instruction is purely English. It has sufficient infrastructure and eminent faculties to meet the desire of our students.

Vision

The vision of GIS is Self Introspection – purify yourself first for your private and public benefit, which will ultimately decide sustainability and peaceful co-existence of human beings.

GURUKUL is of the view that one should manage himself first before he/she thinks/tries to manage anybody else. Self analysis through introspection is essential to know and discover one self. Self analysis and self-criticism helps to locate areas of friction and disharmony. With this vision we have decided to start this school in the name of Gurukul International School (GIS) at village Makranda, Manigachhi, Darbhanga to ensure rural inclusiveness in the development process of the present global world.

Mission

To establish ancient Gurukul tradition & ensure happiness in human life is our mission. This has been promoted with the mission to ensure all round development of a living world. To find everyone educated, skilled, valuable, healthy, happy, dedicated, sincere, accountable, committed, ethical, conscious, honest and rationale is the mission which is served through this Gurukul.

In the present age of global competition the education has become a commercial exercise. Most of the educational institutions provide knowledge and skill but they are lacking on the part of creating Value among the learners. This is why most of the highly qualified professionals promoting value. Today one cannot sustain with knowledge and skill without value.

This GIS has been established with this vision to create value among learners by providing exceptional quality education at their desirable cost in rural areas which is even today neglected from different parameters.

I am very much confident that this Institution with its committed and devoted teams of academicians, administrators and employees will certainly achieve its mission.

You should be happy that GIS is fully equipped to receive you with commitment to make you a more useful member of the society. Your firm decision to join us deserves my compliments.

This was my dream from the very beginning and I was waiting for the day when my villagers will get better quality education at their doorsteps at par with urban counterparts which they could not expect because their poverty and other hurdles.

The ultimate object of GIS is to provide quality education in remote and backward areas at par with Patna University and prominent educational institutions at National and International level teaching. I hope that this institution shall succeed in serving the interest of all my needy brothers and sisters who are not in a position to go in such big cities for their study.

Dress Code

Rules and Regulation

• Identity card issued by GIS Administration is bound to wear the card. Without identity card no one shall be allowed to enter in the campus.
• Dress code applicable shall be strictly followed.
• The medium of instruction shall be English only. If any teacher, students and staff will use non-English language Fine may be imposed.
• In the case of arising disputes and breach of rules, a Disciplinary Committee constituted by the Principal shall settle the issue.
• Director of GIS will be Appellate authority and decision taken by him shall be final.
• Punishment in the form of fine, Suspension or Exclusion from Institution may be imposed on guilty.
• Discipline must be maintained in campus. Ragging is strictly prohibited.
